Plantable Planet...a world of hope!!! is a school fundraiser project that aims to provide schools with educational supplies, educate and reward the students while helping out mother earth by using 100% recycled papers. We contract with vendors who are environmentally friendly and conscientious of our communities at large.
Our mission is to help tackle the global crises of waste and deforestation. We wanted to educate people about pollution and at the same time help clean up the extra trash. So, an idea hatched about having a globe planter made from recycled papers to be compostable in the ground. Making this a Fundraiser will get schools, kids and families on board because so much is given back to the schools, kids and the environment. Kids can learn about the earth's topography by painting the oceans and raised continents, to create their own plantable planet. Schools will get much needed supplies and Mother Earth will get more trees and less trash. Everybody wins!!!
We make these earth globes from 100% recycled paper pulps so that when the seeds grow into plants, you could simply plant the entire earth globes into the ground. No need to separate the plants from the planters which causes trauma to the new seedlings. The paper earths will decompose in the ground as the plants grow and the roots take hold. The box that holds the globe is made from 80% recycled papers; the ink on the box is environmentally friendly and the color pencils are made from recycled newspaper.
